General Information
- All registrants should select a first, second, third and fourth choice of classes,
numerically on the registration form.
- Courses are subject to change or cancellation.
- Pre-registration:
- All students must pre-register by April 15, 2008.
- Submit a separate registration form for each student.
- Each registrant will receive a course confirmation card in the mail indicating course assignment.
- Cards will be mailed April 21, 2008.
- Class Info:
- Classes will run from 8:30 am 4:30 PM.
- All lunch breaks will be 1 hour and will be staggered between 11:30 am 12:30 PM.
- Certificates:
- Will be issued only to students who complete their course.
This will be done at the close of each class by the instructor.
- Protective Equipment Required:
- No student shall be allowed to participate in fire fighting field exercises unless he/she is equipped with approved protective clothing including coat, helmet, boots, and gloves. Students taking the course in protective breathing apparatus and fire attack must bring their own breathing apparatus. No beards allowed in classes using S.C.B.A.`s. Proof of FIT Test must also be provided.
- Child Care Service
- The Fire / Rescue School has decided to offer its participants the availability of child care at this years school. There is no cost for this service. We are responding to requests that several of you made in your evaluations. If you are interested in this service please fill out the appropriate information on the registration form at the back of the brochure. See page 28 for more information.
- Refunds
- Will only be given if you cancel on or before April 23, 2008
